How much does it cost to take the bus to school?

You can:
1) Pay a cash fare to the driver
2) Present a pre-purchased ticket
3) Present a “Greencard” for free travel

How much is a cash fare?

Until the 30th of June 2025, all cash fares are $1.00 per trip.

How much is a ticket?

Tickets can be purchased individually or in multiples. For less than 10 tickets, they are currently $1.00 each. When purchasing an entire sheet of 10, a 20% discount is providing bringing the total to $8.00.

What are the rules when travelling on a Wynyard Bus Lines school bus?

All passengers travelling on a Wynyard Bus Lines service are required to adhere to the Passenger Code of Behaviour document.

How do I request a change to a school bus route?

All Wynyard Bus Lines operated routes are contracted by the Tasmanian Department of State Growth. For any complaints or requests regarding a service route, please contact them directly.
